Hi,

Just thought i would share my joy that i now own Paraguay.tv
I came to agreement with buyer last week after lots of negotiations and finally got word today from Sedo that my payment has been accepted and its all final.

Renewal fee for this is amazing low at $250 :)
Purchase price: $4450

I am delighted to of bought this domain, it will be kept as an investment (unless any of you Geo buyers wanna talk)

I LOVE Geo .tv's :hehe: :hehe:
I now have a decent Geo .tv collection that includes Scotland.tv, & Belfast.tv + about 10 smaller Cities and all have renewal fees of $500 or less (a bargain compared to most)

Cheers,
Ronnie

Thank You for all the kind messages :)

EQ: I am already in development mode but still will buy quality .tv's when i feel the price is low and the renewal is great value. IF this domain was $1000 - $2000 per yr renewal like many other Country .tv's then i doubt i would of bought it but with such a low fee then i can afford to hold this for many years with no financial pressures.

I have no fixed plans for this domain apart from sitting, waiting and watching .tv take over the world :)

I have already have 2,3 people asking me about selling this domain but im not really interested (why sell now when for $500 in fees i can keep it for 2 years and sell for much more?)
If you really want it then Contact me but make sure you come with plenty of 000's in your offer :hehe:

Cheers from the .tv King of Paraguay (i am the .tv Kind of Scotland normally but fancied a change!!) :hehe:

Man, I wasn't going to announce this sale just yet, but now I know who I sold it to. Funny, I have a few great country names that I am willing to sell for a great price. Just turned down $7k for Netherlands.tv and $10k for Peru.tv.

I decided to sell Paraguay.tv for a nice continued ROI for me and my partners. I also have Uruguay.tv, Congo, & Luxembourg.tv that you will probably see sold as soon as I get some fair offers on it.

Ronnie, you could have just PM'ed me and I would have saved the $500 SEDO fee :)

Congrats on the pick up, I'm going to send it to DNJournal for next week and get some publicity for www.da.tv

Congrats on the purchase Ronnie & the sale Richard!

Got a question for you GEO owners out there, what do you think of getting GEO names in .tv that are of smaller not so popular countries for premium prices or names, worth the reg fee & renewals or not?

Congratulations to both buyer and seller. This is a winner all around - too bad Sedo wasn't squeezed out ;), but sometimes anonymity has its value.

Paraguay.tv - I love this type of GEO - spelled the same in Spanish, English and most of the major european languages - so no language leakage. Ronnie, good luck with this one. You have a nice growing collection of GEOs. And so now the King of Scotland has business interests in Belfast and holidays in Alicante and Paraguay. Nice to be a King.

Richard, well done too. Seem like you have plenty more quality GEOs to benefit from the continuing TV uptrend. Cheers, CarryOn

Just sent it to Ron Jackson at DNJournal, so it should show up next week. Also asked for a plug for DA.TV so hopefully it will boost some traffic.

Nice one Searching, always good to get more .tv sales on DN Journal.

I would also like to add that it was pleasure doing business with you on this transaction, very smooth & quick deal.
I guess i was a severe pain in ass during the negotiations :hehe: but i think in the end we didnt get a bad deal with you getting a very good profit and me getting a Geo at a decent price.

Out of curiosity, why did you go for Praguay instead of Uruguay or Denmark? True I probably would have wanted a bit more for these names, but why Paraguay? Also, did you know that I owned it and then went to sedo? Or did you just find out it was me when I posted on this thread?

Thanks for your business!!

Searching i knew you owned it through a old Namepros thread where you and the others who were buying Geo's around the 70% discount period. Through that thread i also knew Paraguay had a great renewal fee which made it very attractive.

Reason i went for Paraguay was that i felt it was a Country of reasonable size & population, Paraguay is spelt same way in all languages (that i know of), it is a Country with great potential imho.

Also Paraguay.com sold for $150k over 2 years ago which did help my decision a little.
Denmark i felt you would of wanted a much higher price, uraguay simply did not interest me.

The fact i went to Sedo was something that i though long & hard about.
In one way i felt bad that you would face bid fees going through Sedo rather than a private sale but i like the set up with Sedo and value the security & reliability through Sedo (i dont buy & sell domains regularly so have never done a private sale)
Also i was not sure if you would of maybe held out for a higher price if you knew it was me as you would of maybe of guessed i was trying hard to buy up Geo's after buying Scotland.tv

In the end i guess we both got a decent deal, you deserved every penny for not telling me to F@ck off during the negotiations :hehe: :hehe:

Great ROI for seller and great deal for the buyer, especially at $250 renewal.

Also, I think Christian Chena bought Paraguay.com. He is one of the top domain
investors in the world and is from Paraguay. Who knows maybe he will jump on the .tv bandwagon later on and offer you big $$$$.
