Question about traffic to my site

Ok, here is the situation. My awstats is showing I had 10,000 unique visitors on my proxy site yesterday, but my google analytics is showing only around 70. And my adsense impressions are showing about the same or a little above. How do I know how much traffic I am really getting?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
Compete.com should be able to provide a good idea of what kind of USA traffic you're getting.

I'm not sure where your domain is hosted but many registrars offer free or near-free shared hosting -- you could put up a blank page and track where the traffic is coming from (awstats should do the job).

Thanks. I'm just trying to figure out if these are real visitors, but awstats shows that only 8 views from a bot so far, so I guess it is real..hmmm

In awstats, what country does it say that the traffic is coming from?

It says from the united states. Then on alexa it says china is the main source but I don't think alexa is updated, and on analytics u.s. is the main source.

I always wonder the same thing, the stat from my hosting never match the analytics or adsense impressions. Someone some expert need to explain to us.
