I recently bought traffic - 10,000 US visitors to a domain I use for credit card affiliate.
When insalling statcounter obn this site, I noticed that ALL the "unique visitors" I paid for - are coming from same IP address in Las Vegas NV.
I guess that means the company who sends me "traffic" is just operating software that automatically sends "visitors" to my site.
Am I right assuming this is a scam?

yes it's a scam, before buying the buyer/consumer needs to know where is the source of the traffic.

yes. it's a scam. we should see atleast some screen shots of source before ordering.

It could just be that they route all the traffic through their servers, which makes sense, but they probably aren't doing it in a way that will bring you quality traffic. It's probably just a bunch of pop unders, so the person is technically visiting your site, but they probably don't leave the window open long enough to actually see what it is :) It's not a scam if you're getting the traffic they promised you... It's just poor quality traffic. But like others have mentioned, you probably should have researched the source of traffic before ordering. Now you know for next time.

I think the best source of quality traffic you can buy is either ads on related sites or just buy traffic domains from other domainers that have the targeted traffic you want.

they may be actually doing this to keep track of the stats. so it may not be a bot sending you traffic. is the company reputable?
