I need help with 1and1 rep added

i used ftp to download my arcade site to 1and1 and i cant find it anymore how do i download my site to 1and1 or where do i find it at?

well first of all, does your site work?

1and1 is not a very trusted company here at NamePros, as you can tell by its ratings. You should contact their support (and hopefully you will get an answer within the next few days... hopefully).

If you did not change anything and suddenly you cannot connect to your account via FTP, the main reason would be that your account was terminated or suspended, or your password changed.

Make sure you uploaded to the correct domain so far. Also switch hosting providers. Domain names are bad at 1and1 and hosting is even worse.

ok i tried asking customer service but they never make sense lol or they send me to there crappy faq what i did was download a backup version to my computer then i used ftp to upload it to 1and1 im new to this but it irritates me because i just bought an arcade site and i had to move it from their hosting

it is pretty easy using 1and1. i think they are pretty good with hosting.

1. in the admin account get/set your ftp account.
2. the same password will be for ftp and sch.
3. you can do scp or ftp
4. you can ssh into your own site to do tweaking there.
