Hey most of you know me and today I'm asking for a serious appraisal for my website. it's a social networking website that is now 8 weeks old maybe 9 weeks. I have added some screen shots and information you might need to make your appraisal.

Looks like a great site to me. The name is pretty cool and you have done a good job of branding this name. If i were you i would further develop the site and hold on to it for a while. Who knows it might blow up really big. Looks to be on a good track as i can tell so far. As for value im not sure. Any revenue?

A lot of competition for this type of service...maybe the concept strikes me as somewhat 2005. These type of sites, value depends on number of registered users, traffic, revenue.......hard to say. It gets a decent amount of traffic so maybe you could sell this for a couple K if you can find a motivated buyer.

Note that I'm not too familiar with this type of market so I could be wrong of course. This is just my first impression. Good luck with it

Yes Google is a form of revenue I'm generating right now and it's brining me in 5 - 9 dollars a day. The revenue has been the same since about December 15th till now. Before that date is was around 2-5 USD.

My traffic is picking up dramatically as you can see in the screen shots.

Overall I'm just trying to grasp a ball park figure if I was to consider the sale.

if the traffic is picking up dramatically, the revenue will follow, and I wouldn't sell as long as its picking up.
based on 5-9 USD a day I think you can get at least a high $x,xxx

It looks like you have put a lot of effort into it. If its not too much trouble to maintain then I'd keep it and try to drive up the user-base. Once you get into the 100,000+ users then it starts to get attractive to a wider range of buyers. Think of it as a combination of userbase + traffic + revenue.

Thanks for the info guys. I have never owned a website that was valued in the x.xxx before :)

I'm not too sure if you seen the website stats I added regarding my users but it's in the first post and I have also added some statistical information from mt Traffic Fact Account with Godaddy.

So if I could find the right buyer right now I could possibly get 5,000 USD for my website?

I have a daily budget of 2 usd at Google but it's not in affect right now as I'm broke after x-mas. It's been stopped now for about 3 weeks, well on pause. I should also mention the budget was to gain more bloggers not blog readers :) So I had terms like Blog Traffic, Blogger Promotion etc..

Also something I didn't show you guys but you could have found yourself easily is the Alexa rating for my website. I know a lot of people don't use or rely on this tool for estimating the value of a website but I personally think it's a great tool and it has been extremely accurate to my traffic.

Also here's the Domain Name Scoop and estimated value of my website from their view of opinion, http://www.dnscoop.com/ Just add the blogengage.com url and hit search it's pretty easy :)

no, you should make more!
If your website is generating $2500 a year (5-9 a day) why sell it for $5,000 ???

actually alexa is an indicator of the type of traffic you are getting in this instance ... ie) lots of "webmaster" type people.

As an example: I have 2 sites with 3 times the stats you have and both have Alexa's in the 400k-600k :)

edit: BTW nice looking site

he said only been making 5-9 for about two weeks. Best to just keep it for a while and see if this trend holds for the long term. This is the wrong time of the year to make yearly assumtions on a website

The site is also only 2 months old :) Also thanks for all the info!

Seems the Google Revenues are up and down a lot! Even with the constant flow of visitors.
