Who needs Friday the 13th to have bad luck? I stubbed my toe and damaged it pretty badly. X-rays were negative but it's swollen and hurts. Webcam pics suck but it's the best I can do :p

lol These are really my foot. According to the diagram you posted, the toe feels fine but the metatarsal of the toe ya see that's all pink/red feels bruised. No breaks were found but I know there is tissue damage there.. how much is unknown at this point.

Nah - that isn't the metatarsal - metatarsals are the long bones inside the main part of your foot. That's the 2nd phalange - or more likely the joint. Sprained maybe? Feel better!

I broke a "pinky" toe when I was a child. I stubbed it on a coffee table and there was really not much the doctor could do except bandage it and tell me "stay off it for a week or so".

The pain is deeper in my foot. The toe itself feels okay-ish. I looked at the diagram and assume the bone is a metatarsal but I dunno lol I'm no doctor (but I wanted to be one, as a child). I do hope it gets better. Thanks for all the well-wishings And yeah, I wore a shoe during the X-ray. And my foot turned Smurf-blue. It was awesome. lol
