To my surprise there was email from Sedo about a bid on one of my domains.

SynthesizerWorl-d.com (take away the hyphen).

What would you, if you had it, accept as lowest?

Also I have several other synthesizernames (without hyphens),

synthesizerforu-m.com
synthesizergaller-y.com
synthesizerhi-ts.com
synthesizerrevie-ws.com
synthesizersou-nd.com

When I get back, I may whatever I accept the bid or not, include these for the bidder to look at. Which prices should I set for these before the buyer
receives my answer, if it was you how much would you .. ?

Compare to these, as what it may become of such a name (!)

If you bid an amount that will be the final amount. You can not increase it after an unsuccessful bidding. That will be set as the highest price for the domain.

So set the highest viable price as for as possible and negotiate with the buyer. Even if the bid goes unsuccessful you can get the other bidder for the domain.

All the best

Sundari.

I don't know the right price, but with sedo you can also start an auction on your domain

I didn´t think about that. Last time I sold on sedo I sold directly.
I just saw that I had already put a price on the domain and the bid was slightly under. Maybe the bidder would have been willing to pay more but he might have thought that if he bids just a bit under I would be satisfied with it anyway and he saves a little.

If I put it on auction he may raise the bid if (s)he really wants it and I may get more bids. And if not, the bidder may withdraw.
It all dependes on how much such a name as this may be "worth", which is impossible to say too...

The bidder can't withdraw once a bid is made. It doesn't matter if you put it into auction, that offer is still binding.

I remember another time I asked for advice here, most people said I shouldn´t take the risk to put it on auction, but with that domain ( ivoip-e.com) I got a good bid £300 so maybe therefore. This domain has a much more clear potential. Don´t anyone here have any feeling for any price/value?
I think I want to put it on auction because it looks quite well and may interest at least somebody. The bidder may feel some stress and offer a higher bid if I tell tat I will put it on an auction.

I think the bidder is a End User and if I were you I would make a higher counter offer and see what happens... At least if the bid is not in the range of x,xxx then you should probably just accept the offer.

I think the bid is binding for seven days.
if the price is good I would accept it.
if its reasonable put it for auction, which means you accept but there is a five days auction where other buyers can bid on the domain.

Of the synthesizer names you own I think it's most valuable.

If I owned it I'd want low $x,xxx myself :imho:
