I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't understand everything Google does. :P But maybe someone can help me understand this. I started developing fleasticks.com after having it parked for a couple months. More as an experiment than anything else. I'm still learning about development. So, If I type "fleasticks.com" into Google, without the quotes, I do get a link to my own site on page one of the results. Nice. But if I type a quoted phrase that appears in that very same search result into Google, like "Keep your pets free from fleas and ticks", I get zero results from my website.

It's as though Google doesn't know what appears in it's own search results. Can anyone explain that?

Well it is awkward. I just checked you have your blog cached in google index.

Wait for somedays and then see what happens.

Like Nick said: you will have to wait for sometime. it takes time for new sites to rank better in SERPs. Your site need to improve its overall ranking in order for it to come on in SERPs for any sentence taken from your site and searched in Google.

it is also possible that you search for your site name and it does not appear on page one. Such thing will reflect a very low overall ranking for that site.

You have results in Google with link "fleasticks.com/?p=74", Is that OK?
