I can't find a .com domain? All other available? Which is the second one better to take?

Depends on name, site topic and business profile. In case it is institutional, geo or something similar, take .org. If your business area would be India, US, EU then .in or .us or .eu accordingly for sure. For internet related .net wouldn`t be a bad choice. Some names would fit to .info perfectly (for instance arrivals, tourist etc). If any other extension does not support your name as well as .com, go for best suffixes and prefixes.

I surely take .it over .net if I would to develop a local ( Italian ) web site and the .com extension is taken ;P
Dunno the actually popularity of .us in the USA but .it as cctld for local site is better choice than .net if .com isn't avaiable imho

Ah, well that is possibly true for Italy. I know that in the US if I were to ask 10 random people what .us is I do not think I would get very many responses from people who knew what it was.

As a few others have stated, it depends on what kind of site you will be running. In some cases, I opt for the .org or .us over the .net.

A lot depends on the country in the case of some countries the country is the next best extension IE: de uk etc, some country ext arent popular at all then the net or org in my opinion
