I am still learning but I bought RehabDIY.com and DIYremodeling.com

I was just thinking that Do it yourself rehab and remodeling is is a strong market... Rehab DIY but I know DIY Rehab would have been better any hope? and DIYRemodeling.com..... for a new domainer or did I waste my 4.38?

I don't think you wasted the 4.38 - there is definitely a market for them. They may not command hundreds of thousands of dollars - but each are relevant to the renovation market, which that is still a pretty big market (just ask HGTV, HomeDepot and Lowes). Just a matter of find the person(s) who would really want/need domains like those.

The remodeling one can be used to sell books / videos, building materials, tools, rentals.
And, when the homeowner is in over their head, even construction services.
Hold it longer enough and a buyer will appear.
Develop it and you could get monthly income forever.
