it is useless to post new .com sites because .com has already made it. for a brand new extension it is huge news everytime a major company starts their .mobi site. hard to see how it isnt great news for the extension that one of the largest weather sites in the world has decided to use their .mobi. if you dont like reading about all the new .mobi sites then dont visit the .mobi section of namepros.

.mobi was launched only 8 months ago, so it is very important for us to know wheather major corporations adopt this new extension or not.

from the point of view of mobi, it doesn't matter, it shows their support of the extension....that's what matters ...not where it points

if they didn't like and support the extension, they would ignore it in the first place, but they _didn't_ ......that's what matters

it was just my view nothing against all of you that like .mobi. hell I like .mobi too I owned 2 .mobi's but don't see the since of posting all the sites... hell 95% of them redirect too a .com............

Agreed. I've seen numerous non-mobi domains become mobile compliant in the past few months - why is nobody posting those? That's good for mobile use, but is it because it's not .mobi?

In the absence of any real information and substance from the leadership at mTLD ... domainer enthusiasts of the .MOBI feed off of any "news" they can find in order to validate / add a sense of credibility and timeliness to the extension IMHO. :blink:
