Hey guys,
I am new in this place. I have just created websites through Geocities pagebuilder.

Is there a place were i can learn were i can build websites from scratch?
For example my first questions are:
1. I have bought a domain at godaddy, now that i have to buy some space to create website , i can buy it from anywhere else?
2. Afterwards the site that i will buy the space i have to login there to change my webpage?
3. Are there any webpages that there are programs like pagebuilder, if i dont know to use codes?
4. which is the best program to build a page?
5. Are there programs that i can work offline on my personal labtop and then transfer what i have done to the page i need to transfer my work to upload it online?

These guys , thanks for any help that you will give to me....

Welcome to Name Pros, hariseliades!

In order to have a website on the internet for the domain that you own, you will need to purchase web hosting. We Hosting can come in various forms - there are thousands upon thousands of companies/individuals on the internet that provide web hosting.

Once you have chosen a web hosting company, and purchased a package, you will be given a Control Panel. Most likely, if the hosting package is hosted by Linux, you will have cPanel.

In your control panel, you will be able to create a FTP account (File Transfer Protocal). FTP enables you to upload files from your local computer, onto the web host.

All website designers/builders build the website on their local computer, before uploading the files onto the Web Host's server, to their actual web site's directory.

There are many programs you can use, however some of them can tend to be expensive.

Dreamweaver, for example, is one of the best out there - but it's one of the most expensive. You can also use Microsoft Frontpage. I'm not sure how expensive that is right now.

I hope this information helps.

Best of luck!
