I am looking to create a website to sell mineral specimens and gemstones. What would be the best programs to buy or use. I do not mind spending a few dollars on some quality programs ("Few"). All I want is the ability to content manage my site from home. All this would involve is adding new products or adding a "sold" to the photo. The site would be in a catalog form organized by gemstone type with a small thumbnail that enlarges. I have the winter off and will have a considerable amount of time to spend learning the stumbling throught the programs. I was told I need to get MySQL and PHP-NUKE. Are these good or are there better ones out there. Any information to lead me in the right track would be greatly appreciated.
