Huge names, obscure extension - Worth regging?

Hi All,

Seeking your opinion on whether it's worth regging some big time English keyword names in a relatively obscure extension of a non-English speaking country? (I mean they do speak English but not natively). Such names as

cellphone
creditcards
diamond
videos
casinogambling
freepoker
pokergames
casinogames
freegame
travelagent
rentals
freep**n
babe
adware
spyware

are available. Reg fee is about $100 and renewals $50 a year.

What do you think? Worth regging? Which ones?

I would probably not register more than a few.
Things to keep in mind:
- you need a healthy budget for registration
- strong sales in obscure TLDs are rare, so do not expect a fast sale. If you are looking to flip see below
- you need to get acquainted with the rules on transfer of ownership (and the associated costs). Each TLD has their own rules.
- you should think about ways to develop and monetize in the meanwhile as you may have to keep them for some time.

From your list I would consider names like creditcards or rentals, or names that could be targeted toward tourists (to justify the use of English).

Imho

i would only reg such keywords as poker,casino,sex,hotel(s),download(s) etc,try and steer clear of poker****.cctld and free****.cctld.

Some of the above names aren't to bad,however for the reg fee of $100 i personally wouldn't reg any, if they are available, they are available for a reason,and normally that is no one else wants them.
Do some research on those words in other cctld;s like .in .hk .pk .etc, if they are parked,then probably best not to buy,you could also look on Sedo to see how many of those words are for sale and have had bids,this might give you an indication of whether its worth it or not.
