Hello everyone.

I have been conducting some outbounds sales emails on a domain name that I own.

I got the following response:

Please remove me from your email database. I will never be interested.

My inclination is to respond and educate the possible client on the value this domain name may have to his business. Ask some probing questions and do some math.

What do you think?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Your job is to change his mind. If everyone is telling you to move on, clearly you should do the opposite;) LOL

I think he wants you to leave him alone. :ahhh:

But if you want to take one last shot,
Can try sending him a picture of a cute pup with your pitch..

Them puppy eyes are a killer! :shy:
B-)B-)

This is a sign of the make the sale at all cost type of thinking.

Reserve your inclination for people that are on the fence or ask for more info.

Plus your next email to them will most likely begin a reporting of you to spammer networks.

Move on and Good Luck

just today I got this from my outbound mail
( the first reply ever in response to my outbound mails [200 or so ] )

"No thanks

Bobby"

well he really wants the domain, right?

he really wants to be sold on the domain, right?
-otherwise he would have ignored me -

now I should call him every morning
and educate him , right?

gosh..
he is a grown up guy,
I will definetely respect his NO. as a No.

Thanks but No is only the start of any negotiation. Don't you think?

Unless you wish to be reported as a spammer, then continue. Otherwise do what they ask. They have your original communication. If they change their mind then let it be their decision. To get your email address and potentially your website black-listed is not fun.

Hey Hey wait. I think it's me. That's the thing I write when I get unwanted emails about a domain.
Please remove me from your email database. I will never be interested.

If you get a message like this. My advice to you is leave him the $#@ alone. Because if you sent me another message, I'll put on some gay and other porn site spam list so you can enjoy the spam you are spewing.

I've changed my outbound messages over a hundred times, tweaking words and testing strategies many times until I found something that works on a consistant basis.

Best of success to you with your future outreach!

Hi @DomainVP , as I'm facing troubles (no sales, only many email opens) after trying few different outbound messages,

would you please share with us the outbound message that works fine with you. if you don't mind?

Thanks for your help.

I won't post my outbound message, but I will tell you how I came up with it.

I studied the psychology of sales, influence, and buying. Stop looking at how to sell your domain, and start looking at what makes people buy.

You can find great resources on Google/YouTube, and then you will be able to formulate a message that works well.

hopefully he owns the lengthy version of the keywords or the dot net. He just added value to your name if the case. No need for a response feel good he is brand protecting your name.

If the person is from Canada, move on. It is against the law to send unsollicitated email.

Since he politely said to leave him alone, I would not insist. People hate spammers.

Just respect there wishes. Remove them from your list and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused them. They may contact you back later even and another point the sale at this point is nothing but an uphill battle if when ever comes at all. waste of time really.

My response would be (assuming your domain has a lander with a contact form)

Sorry to have bothered you. I will remove you straight away. If you ever do change your mind you can learn more at www-(your domain)-com.

Best

The seed is then planted and you have respected the wishes of this person and you move onto the next potential buyer.
