Shut down?

This website is a bunch of "hate" This person is probally the sickest man alive... he makes fun of "handicaps", ect... Is there anyway to have this website shut down? I mean the website is a USA website.

Im pretty sure it can be shut down. If the website doesnt require a login to show that kind of stuff to "minors", its public, now if he were to make it a pay site, or require a login with a valid credit card or something, that wouldnt be "public" (i think thats only for tv...)

But this website is just sick... i almost puked seeing some of those things... pictures of dead animals... ect... thats totally out of line...

Any comments?

Well, they SHOULD have a warning before you enter, and require that you be over, say, 16 or so to view that.

I guess you could file a case against them (will cost lot of money), but that doesn't always promise that the site will be shutdown...

Did you go to the extreme parts of eBaums? If I'm not mistaken, they are fairly well marked.

I have seen stuff on the internet that I don't want to remember, yet it is burned into my psyche. eBaumsWorld is mild. Even the extreme parts aren't as bad as some sites out there. The best thing to do is not visit websites that have extreme content if you are offended by it.

Most of the stuff on eBaums is humorous and I kinda like the site. I stay away from the extreme content and all is hunky-dory. I'd much rather see all the child-porn and exploitation sites go away than sites like eBaumsWorld. Of course that's just :imho:

My cousin Abby has Cerebal Palsy (not sure of the correct spelling) And another thing were her bones decay... she has 500-600 LETHAL sezures a day... i, myself have epilepsy... Things such bother me...

Axilant has enough money to file a suit, but I still think that there should be a warning on their homepage stating that there is extreme content on the site.

I don't remember seeing anything on eBaums that is as you describe. Of course, I haven't seen all of their content. Maybe you (or your friend) can give us an example of what you're talking about.

My misunderstanding, i asked my friend to show me the link he showed me, and was nothing he claimed it to be... i couldnt find it by looking around the website... i took this topic a bit "overboard"... pretty upset with my friend (Not compuXP...) someone else...
