information How to transfer domains after a sale on listing sites

Hello,
I would like to know how transfering a domain works after the sale on auction and listing websites like Sedo.com, Dan.com, Afternic, etc.

Do I have to transfer the domain to another registrar or can I simply push the domain to an account on the same registrar?

I’m asking this because I have recently bought several domains on Godaddy and there the transfer is blocked for 60 days.

You can sell domains within 60 days lock, and its only allowed to push domain to another account of same registrar.

If the domain is with godady, you can ask the buyer of the domain to open a new godaddy account (unless they already have one) and you can push the domain to their godaddy account for free.
