.tv How to think DM takeover will affect .TV

As the title says, personally i always loved Name.com ,they are what aregistrar should be imo, i have little time for DM given my past experiences with them.

How will .tv backorders work now,given that currently Enom names go through Namejet?, i am not engaged in many backorders anyway,but i am not sure how this will work and am inclined to think it wont ,not for the better anyway.

I will watch and see but if DM do kill the goodwill and name ( no pun intended) of name.com as i think they will then all my names will probably go to Dynadot.

I havent read much into the press releases of the deal but my hunch is not much will change, they will try keep name.com as seperate company with its own unique brand identity.
Things will just stay the same. imho

It would be a shame if name did change as i really like them, great customer service from them always with me.

Yes Ill never be a fan of Demand Media either Bob.. I would move all my names to Dynadot or Domainmonster.. Its a good point about the backorders.. Lets see what happens mate..

Im going to sell all my domains, so it wont affect me (hopefully!)
