Hello, could you teach me how to sell acer.com.co domain name?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Here I agree absolutely.Putting up content of computer products including a competitor (Toshiba) on such a site is playing with fire. Imo
This thread may be endless if no understanding that the domain itself (record in the corresponding registry) and its usage - are 2 different things.
He must NOT offer it.
Such domains can be sold in passive mode only... Strict inbound - in other words.
Contact Form without any content should be safe and enough 100%.
If the mentioned Taiwan manufacturer - they already own .CO
So their inquiry for .com.co is just question of time.
This thread is not about plumbing...
And just the domain registration is not an issue... only activity/content matters to dispute the certain domain.
@canvasboutiuque The plumbing company(or any other product/service not related to computer) is a good and legal way to use the word acer in your domain or branding. CONSIDERING that their trademark is only applicable to computers. The owner of .co version though is clearly asking for trouble the way the domain is setup selling or advertising computers.
P.S. Please note above is a comment from a domain holder and NOT a legal expert.
What we should collectively do is not suggest or promote *cough* "legal ways" for third parties to register trademarks.
