So, unlike Sedo, there is no attempt by Dan to ban that individual from their marketplace for any future transactions? The Sedo policy appears very strict, but appears to provide greater reassurance that the buyer will not back out of the deal.

Why are you assuming things? DAN blocks non payers. Its not any platforms fault when a buyer ditches a transaction. If you are looking for zero risk platform you aren’t going to find one.

I never take this kind of things too seriously. I mean we have come to expect that many stores honor returns with no question asked for 30, 60, 90 days and here we are trying to force someone to pay because he backed off the last moment.

Of course, the marketplace should keep tabs on clients to know if this is something incidental or there is a pattern. But even stores use a third party to keep track and tell them if a person has tendency to abuse the system or it is just natural behavior.
