How to restore image/picture from archive.org?

I would like to restore one website from archive.org, but archive.org does not seem to archive the images/picture since I only see a "X" in the place of a picture. Is something wrong with my browser or there is no way to restore the images?

that is because the server it was on no longer has that photo at that link.
in the vast majority of times, archive does not store the pics, unless the site is extremelly busy, then it seems to also include the photo.
an alternative would be to find where the site use to be located (go to whois.sc and look at the past records), and then attempt to find the link stored at that server.
of course, since the domain is no longer hosted at that server, you would have to replace it with the ip instead of the domain, and paste the rest of the path.
assuming the pic is still on that server, you should be able to see it.
its troublesome, but if you really need to see the pic, this is probably the only way.
