If you want to get #1 in "Hosting" or "Dating" or another popular keyword like that -- good luck at earning your 250k budget If it's more targeted, like "Pizza pie recipies" it will be a lot easier.

I think you can get a higher rankings for 'mini games' since this keyword is not so competitive..

perhaps you can find more keywords on wordtracker or overture

404,000 results is not that "competitive" IMHO. Try optimizing your meta tags and page content. I managed to get 1 site ranked top 10 for various keywords out of millions of results in less than a month. Then again, there are many other sources of website traffic and search engines are just one of them.

for google, you need to optimize your site so it is search enginge friendly. Also try to get sites to link to you so you get ur pagerank up. The higher the page rank, the higher up in reselults. SO if u have a pr of 8, your site mght be in the top 20 results comparted to a site with a pr of 4, which might be in the top 80000
