How to get more visitors to my Proxy?

I was wandering how people thought I could get more visitors to my site? I submitted it to directories, proxy.org, I also promote it in the Chatroom but it's still not good enough.

[3] Link swap with other proxies with good traffic.

[4] Pay a bit more $ to advertise it.

[5] I've been told advertising on goodwaiter.com and proxy.org are excellent ways to receive traffic.

[6] Tell your friends at school.

Paste flyers near schools & universities about your proxy and tell them that they can now visit myspace.com from school. Distribute brouchers, I think thats the best promotion technique for proxy sites.

Do proxy site even make good moeny? I mean there so many of them

They don't make ALOT, but in a short amount of time they make more then most sites do after months.

[7] Start a network, build proxies upon proxies. Have a page that has all your proxies and update it frequently

[8] Get a good design, and try and minimise the topsite buttons - they can take forever to load

[9] Swap links with friends and other proxies

[10] Include META tags for search engines to pick you up

[11] Avoid having the word 'proxy' in your domain as all content keepers block it

[12] I did recommend adding your site to proxy.org, but I've been told content keepers search those lists and block all sites on it, so be careful

[13] Adsense ads that blend in work best
