i am new in this field. so i want to get into online business. so i want to develop a tourism website of a country. so please help me out how can i generate revenue from my website and how can i brign traffic to my website.

Well Earning would mostly constitute of Advertisement Earnings, you won't get anything else. Tourism is a Physical business, you can't just put it on the Web. For your second Question, Link Exchange, Buying Advertisement on RELATED Forums, Websites etc. would get you good exposure, but make sure you make your banner attractive. Plus, also post on Travel Tourisms blogs and Forums - GUEST Blogging. This will surely help you alot.

Well i am a newbie on this part too, and i want to build a whole network of geo sites . I own over 100 good geo domains and want to do sites for them . The first earning will be from Google Adsense, i think it has much value for geo sites . And the from booking affiliates , i have to search for some lol .

Well there can always be Referral Earnings, iulianh, One more idea, you can get contact with your country's Hotels, Resorts, AirLines etc. and Encourage them to give Facilities like Booking etc. on your Website. For that you can charge commission from them. But Thats only possible when you have good enough traffic, Companies won't trust you otherwise.

Yep you are right Xavier , i know that bookings.com has an partner program where they give you the refferal page and you earn comissions by reffering people to book trips from them .

:hi: I am interested in this as well. I have a domain that I would like to develop.

Unfortunately it would be for a Polish audience and I do not know Polish which is a twist!

I will of course hire a native developer. I have two that I have researched already.

But my question is how much would it be worth spending?

Would anyone be able to give me a general estimate on if they believe these sites are making money and how much they could or should be making:

My site currently gets unsolicited offers but I am not really interested in selling a domain unless I can get a lot out of it because once I sell them I will have a hard time replacing them.

thanks for your replies. yes i am considering to add booking pages at my site as well. but i am newbie in here. so i have to do it all by myself. i will definitely add a forum for tourists at this site because this is the only good way to get traffic to your site!

so to add a forum to my website what do you recommend vbulliten.com or anyother because i dont know much about these things. i knew about these things 4 years back but now after such a long gap i forget about everything because its growing up very fast.

i also want to be a part of www world.

so please advice about the designing softwares for websites, logos & banners.

If you want to put a forum , just start with phpbb or smf and then if the forum is active buy an vbulletin license .

Well its not the kind of Project for which you should single handedly invest, until you are into that field, and run a Side Based Business. If you are into this business, then an estimated budget of $1000.00 or so would atleast be required for the Following things.

- Advertising your Site, Services.
- Getting your Website Made, SEO etc.
- And ofcourse buying ADs in your Local Destination.

I think that to make money I am going to have to spend money. I am not sure though that if I put a few $1,000 into it that I would make a good share of it back. The weak dollar certainly hurts me at this time.
