Hi, I found a huge list of words (with definitions )and i'd like to see if any of them are available to register as domains, I need to copy the list so I can paste them into the software that is going to check if they are available, but when I highlight the list of course it also highlights its definition, is there a way to highlight just the words so I copy/paste them, if I do it 1 by 1 it'll take forever, thanks. I hope this question makes sense to you guys.

how are they arranged? word on the left, definition on the right?

if so, i usually paste into open office calc or excel using paste special - unformatted text.

then you can just copy out the left hand column of words.

Yep copy it into Excel as NC has said. If the two parts of the data don't appear in seperate columns, you need to look something unique between the parts like a dash or word.

Then in excel, write a formula (assuming a dash is the unique bit) =left(A1,find("-",a1)) & copy that formula down the column.

Alternatively PM it to me & I'll sort ot out for you (well try to)

Cheers

How have I never thought of excel? Normally I just make a program quickly with C# to do things like this, but at least I can add the TLD to the words also like that.
