Lets say I have a big list of domains (copied eg. from premiumdrops ) with a bunch of other data like drop dates, expiration dates, renewal dates, etc. and I just want a list of the domains without all the extra stats. Is there a tool that can clean all the extras and leave just the domains so I can copy-paste the domain list to my domain-availability checker program?

I am not aware of any tools for that explicit task. There are a large number of Unix/Linux tools that make this a trivial task, like Awk. I also use Perl for short programs to do things like this.

Awk is available for Windows too, but I am really not the guy to ask about Windows... I installed Awk on my windows boxes, but I never use it since I am more comfortable in the Unix world. Just google "Awk Windows" and something will popup. Of course learning about regular expressions might take awhile if you are not familiar with them.
