How to Check if a Domain Name will be classed as Adult by Google for Parking

Hello Everyone,

Like we have few ways to check to if the Domain Name is Blacklisted or Google Banned, Best method being the Bodis Free API URL.

I like to know if we have any method by which we can check if the Domain name will be classed as Adult by Google.

Best Example is: Famous website www hidemyass com for example if this is parked google will class this as adult although it was a Proxy and Web Filter related website.

Any Inputs are appreciated.

You can always appeal any decision by Google on how they rate a domain. It's a lengthy process and I suspect this domain wouldn't get re-rated.

I remember having a couple of female name domains myself, like Sofia or Rachel or Jessica (just hypothetical examples). Everytime i put them on parking, they were immediately classified as Adult, and the parking company automatically puts pictures of women in seductive lingerie.

If i were female, i would have been offended.

Yes, I guess it may require lot of follow up.
HideMyAss dot com i just gave example. Its a Active VPN and Proxy Website used all over.

May be Bodis have some API for this also.

Yes that's too bad. Sometimes. google based on history of the website class it as adult and some times if the Typos or Names which are similar and are Active Adult related websites then also Variant of such Active Website names are also classed as Adult.

Yes, Seeing objectionable content on a website with your name is bad.

I can tell you how to check the adult status for your domains, but you have to do it one at a time.

If you have a voodoo account, add the domain name in question to the voodoo account. You don't have to change parking or anything but you need the domain name to be listed in your voodoo account.

Then go to 'Domain Manager' and click on the domain name you just added. Then go to the subheading, "Domain Options'. Right under the subheading you will see ...
"Current domain status clean" or "Current domain status adult" or "Current domain status faillisted".

clean - for domains which are good with google.
faillisted - for banned domains
adult - adult domains

For new domains, you might have to wait 5-10 minutes for the status to be provided, but it seems very accurate as it correlates very well with results from DomainSponsor.

I know with domainsponsor, my account manager will move anything that google classifies as adult to a separate folder. Same for banned domains.
