How to catch a dropped domain??

How do you guys (or I should say how CAN you) catch a drop before a company like Snapnames or Name Jet gets it and holds it for auction?

And I'm not talking about a back order. Because if it's a good domain, 99% of the time more than one person will back order it.

So are there any tips on this?

Also are there any websites that allow you to see in advance what domains will be dropping? I know there are some such as justdropped.com. But, they don't have a filter for something like dictionary words.

I like tastedrop.com because they have a filter for dictionary words. But, they only show drops up to 1 day in advance. Are there any sites with filters for dictionary words that allow you to check drops at least a week in advance?

Thanks for any advice! :)

If anyone can figure that out and beat Snapnames/Namejet and their networks of registrars... You're all set!!

You can download the complete delete list from Snapname here or Pool.com herel (5 days in advance).

Many folks have their own homegrown tools/scripts to filter out dictionary words, keywords and various analysis etc. You can either write one or buy one. I think I have seen someone selling such scripts in the "Script for sales" section here before.

As far as website, I rarely use it, but I do like dropace.com.

You can't.
Even if you do everything in your power to gear yourself up to the max for desktop drop catching, it's like you own a shotgun. You're going to stomp all over a street-brawler who's just using his fists, but you don't stand a chance against the US Army. That's what the big dropcatchers are. They have networks of registrar partners (and outright shell registrars created solely for the purposes of dropcatching) that are able to barrage the registry with tens of thousands (or more?) of requests per second. You stand no chance... You have to add professional dropcatchers to your toolkit. If the name is so important that you must own it, then you have to pay these guys to get it for you.

Totally false. If it's a FANTASTIC domain, it's going to Pool/Snapnames/Enom.
Good domains drop every day and just sit there.
