Hi, whatever name that I choose in any domain register like name.com, godaddy, namecheap, I see all those domains are already acquired by Hugedomains .com and Brandroot .com. Every name that I think about after brainstorming for some time is on sale from Hugedomains .com and brandroot .com These guys, I am sure to have bought those by paying max $10 and maybe less and selling for $1k-$3k and ever more.

How in the hell do I get my hands on these domains?

I am getting a bit frustrated. I am at this since yesterday constantly brainstorming names and ultimately giving up on each name.

Buy domains in auction. There are several places where you can place a bid on auction & win the quality name for low prices. Godaddy auction, Namejet auction, Flippa, Sedo,Here on namepros etc. Also visit namebio.com to know past sales.

Suppose a domain is in auction and bids are like $100, $200...so in order to have a chance to win I need to place a bid of $201 right?

Depending on platform there is certain increment amount on bid. Also there is a facility to place proxy bid. Proxy bid is like how much highest you can pay for the name. But it won't be placed right away. Your bids will automatically increase up to proxy bid. There is sea of knowledge here on namepros. Jst explore past threads and read a lot.I will suggest you gain some experience in understanding the quality of names to buy good names.Visiting Namebio.com past sales regularly will give you some idea on quality.

There is no way to buy anything GOOD for $10 nowadays. Hugedomains and sites like this most probably won those at auctions, therefore they paid much more than $10.

Good domains are like gold: you can dig gold out of the ground for free. But gold is rare, so it's expensive. The same with GOOD domains: you can reg some crap for $10 but you have to pay millions for one-word gems

Hugedomains .com, Brandroot .com. Also you can post a request in the REQUESTS section on this forum: https://www.namepros.com/forums/domain-buyer-requests.10/

But do not expect to get anything good for cheap.

The internet has been mainstream since the the mid 1990s so it is unrealistic to expect to find short memorable keyword domains available for reg fee. There are some 134 million .Com domains registered. However there are occasional aged expiring domains as well as undervalued aftermarket domain s available at Godaddy. Auctions and Namejet.
