How to buy from Japan

I am interested in a domain, ******.org It is registered to Sakura Internet Inc. in Japan. Has been parked for a very long time according to the archive.org. I haphazardly paid GoDaddy domain buy service $70 to see if they would do anything, it looks like they simply sent an email and waited a month until they gave up. How might I buy a domain form a Japanese company I can't even seem to contact? I don't expect to pay more than $420 for the domain, it isn't very marketable in my opinion.

Try finding email id and message them why you want it. Japanese people are very kind and generous. If they don't want the name and just reserved it , they will be very much positive to your proposal. Its always a nice experience to deal with Japanese people. I guess Japanese people are the most generous people in this lovely planet Also, It's a not so marketable dot org means they might have owned the name for some purpose. Anyways, Trying will not hurt, IMO.
