i guess buying a domain from anyone is the same as buying any merchandise, usually i do is see the asking price and ask if the price is fixed or still negotiable and if yes will offer near price for that but cheaper, and if not and i really want the domain i just buy it from the asking price.

its not about the price... its how to make it fair for both...

Its " I dont like to lose my $$ and him dont want to lose his domain" thing.

Do i have to pay him first? if he doesn't accepts paypal... doesn't want creadit card... what should i do?

Dear Abcde,

If u r going for such deals with new person , you can use escrow services.
escrow.com , Even sedo.com will do Escrow but they will charge atleast $50.

Anyway lets watch what other NP's says.

Good Luck,
Kathir

i am up for escrow too. but the one thing for sellers to remember: never transfer/push domain to the new owner, untill you have not recieved money, or until escrow or sedo or some similat service will tell you, that they have your money.

Escrow would be a good way to go if you aren't sure you trust the seller. However if they are reputable, I would simply pay him first and receive the domain. Do wait until they are online at the same time as you and make sure you are talking to the seller throughout the transaction though, through an IM or something, so you know what is going on.
