hi, i know this question has been asked many times, but my situation is different. i registered a domain name to work on at a later date but never got to it. now, i got an email(as my details were avaialble from the whois) from someone who want to buy the domain. the first bid was for 150 but the final offer i got was for 200.

it is a two letter word domain, and i want to know should i sell it. and if i shud, how should i sell it, that is, what should be the medium.

hi, i know this question has been asked many times, but my situation is different.

I read your post but I dont see how its different. It doesnt matter why you reg it or when (up to a point) All that matters is how desirable your name is to others. The fact that only now you got one person inquiring doesn't bode well for the name as being premium. There no two word domains= whatever rule, or even have value. You can list it in the appraisal section here at np and see if others have a value opinion. Goodluck.

Yep, just show the name.

If you do not wish to reveal the domain name, you could actually compare your current domain name with similar ones that were sold in the past. While there are a multitude of factors, the pricing of your domain name should not vary much from past sales of similar domain names.

These sites should help your find past sales of similar domain names: namebio.com , dnsaleprice.com and dnjournal.com

Wanted to add that since you handregged the domain name, it wouldn't be a bad idea to sell it at $200. You can use Escrow.com or just accept Paypal payment. It depends on how much you trust the buyer.

I think you should try to find out more about the interested buyer.
Similar like you I hand regged a name for later use. Not even at Sedo parked and I got an email about selling this name.
I searched a lot to find out more about the buyer. It ´s easy just use Google, Facebook etc.
Btw: It was more or less a serious interested buyer.
For payment you could use Moneybookers.com.
Don´t push your name first.

Once you get payed you can trust. Also if you planned to work on it..you have to consider the potential revenue that this domain might make before selling.
