I recieved the following email:

Hello,

Please let me know a quote in US dollars or Euros for the name mentioned in the subject of this email. We saw it listed for sale.

Our company develops software (mainly client-server systems).

If you offer more domains for sale with good reselling potential please email us your list.

The domain is serviceavenue.com and since this is the 1st mail I recieve for a domain sale I don't know how to proceed. Suggestions will be much appreciated, thanks.

It does sound like one of those famous scam emails that every one get.

I would respond with a price that you think is good for your name. Ask in the appraisals section for more opinions.

The minute they ask for an official appraise, thats scam afaik.

It is the famous appraisal scam which has been around for a long time. You can trash it direct.

We get 3 or 4 of these threads a week usually.
So far 5 this week.
