I see. I saw in your earlier post the line where you said that he wasn't the victim, but reading it again, I see what you mean, it was the wording that confused me. I do agree completely with your last post. There are multiple types of shill bidding, 28 previous bids on this lot was enough to do the trick. The first bidder with 28 feedback went to $3,300 and the next bidder went up to $3,450. If the first bidder with 28 feedback was legit, then the shill was thinking maybe he will bid up to $3,500 and he will beat my $3,450 by $50. If the first bidder was real, it looks like he wasn't going to bid again, meaning the lot would not have even sold. But, bidder number 3 came in, when the auction was probably at $3,350 and put in a bid of at least $3,500, which took home the lot. This is assuming that any of the bidders were real. :imho:
