How strong is "C" as a replacement for "see?"

I'm considering buying a short domain that has a keyword that is very relevant to it's content. I'm wondering how strong the letter C is as a replacement for the word SEE. (C as the prefix.)

What are your thoughts on the brandability of the replacement. Thanks.

I wouldn't suggest it unless you were gonna develop it very far

Absolutely. I'm not referring to it with regards to type-in traffic. The site would be well developed.

I guess it would somewhat matter on how it's done. Like CUSoon, is applicable, But CtheOcean, or LookAndC etc., don't work in my opinion.

Yes. This question is based on an LLLL.com.

I would say it depends on the name, but probably, not really.

depends on the word

and how the end user

see's it

spells it

It's really hard to say without seeing the domain.

If this is a LLLL.com and if it is similar to let say CYou.com or LetC.com

I would say it has potential.

Also if it's a LLLL.com you were inquiring about, shouldn't the 'Short Name' section be the place to post this?

I don't believe so.

The original question pertained to the use of the letter C, without the regard of the length of the domain. I was asked if the domain was short, and in the case, it is. It has nothing to do with the marketability of the domain due to length.

doyoucwhatic.com

Will a visitor recognize it as "Do You See What I See"?
Ask yourself the same question, and you will find out the answer.

I think it is a bas idea unless you woant to bleed traffic to the owner of the domain name with the word 'see' instead of the letter 'C'

"doyoucwhatic.com" is a very nice example.

Even if you replace "see" with "C", people will read them as "see".

So, if you choose to use "C" for brandability, remember to buy the "see" version too :)

Definitely fails the phone test.

IMHO Id say bad idea no exceptions and I even like other kinds of domain hacks.
