How site must be worked in all browsers

My Site is not compatable in all browsers. For that reason i decided to design according to mozilla firefox. My site is in the signature

bad idea, you should design for all browsers, especially IE

I agree with Albino. Many people are still using IE. In fact, most of the people I know still prefer IE. I once designed my site according to Firfox (because I use it) and one day I was having probs with the browser so I visited my site on the IE browser and it looked completely different. I think you should go for the IE compatibility.

That is a bad decision. Do you know more than 80% of internet surfers use Internet Explorer. It means that you will lost 80% of all the traffic. Tell me one more thing, Why it is not compatible with all browsers? You should make it work with Netscape and Opera as well.

I definitely agree with what everyone is saying about IE. Firefox users are still growing but very small number of people are using it compare to IE. One of the first thing I've learned about using web browser is that everyone around the world prefers IE simply because it is pre-installed in their PC.

Base the design on Firefox (since its standards compliant) and then tweak for IE6 (reason mentioned above)

But a joomla template probably has corrected all the little cross browser glitches,

Are you coding the joomla template from scratch ? (can actually start by modifying already existing template)
