How sales happen here on NamePros

Hi,

I was observing and meanwhile made my 1st listing live on NamePros.
But I just thought how do we go about payment processing for any sale happening on NamePros?
Unlike other auction or sales websites, the website manages the transaction as per my learning. Once someone buys a name, the platform manages the payments and name transfer for a commission.
Here I know there is no commission, but does the sale happen only on trust.
Like I have a domain. Someone agrees to buy and makes the payment, once payment received, I transfer the domain. Is that it?
Or the other way where I transfer the domain and expect other party to send me the payment?
If someone who have made some sales here may help me with this query please.

Generally this is the procedure.However as a new account you may be asked to push the domain first to build trust .If in doubt use escrow or dan.For higher value domains you can use an escrow service for peace of mind.

Generally, PayPal is used here for small dollar amounts. Depending on your status and the number of previous completed transactions that you get feedback for, some might insist that you transfer the domain first before payment can be made. But as your trade score improves over time, the right order of payment first before delivery will naturally apply for every transaction.

So, yes, sales here are mainly based on trust and positive feedbacks.

For larger amounts like @Axc said, you might opt for an external escrow like Dan,com or Epik for everyone's peace of mind.
