How my PC was fixed.

Most of you wont know (and wont care) that my main PC has been out for the count for the past week or so, wont boot past the windows XP splash screen.
So, i have been on the phone with dell for hours on end most days, nothing they advised me to do worked, they sent me an XP re-install disc which didn't even work.

But today, MY PC IS FIXED.

And, i would like to tell you how it was fixed by a member here, Joe Chaney,

We where talking on MSN, the topic of my PC came up, so in the end Joe came round. We tried a bunch of things on the 'puter and of course they didnt work. I decided to take the side of to show Joe the harddrive, see if it would fit in his PC, see if any information could be savoured, We tried one more time the hard drive was sitting on the floor connected this time, Joe picked up the HD, and found that is well, moved on its own accord basicaly, it flew about in your hand, kinda weird and as we where playing with the flying hard drive it booted from the XP splash screen w000ttt and a half, so backed up as much as i could into a memory stick and rebooted and it's working fine.

hehe, its dammed fun playing with a flying hard drive.

Imagine 2 really powerful magnets, and you are trying to squish them together and they are opposing poles, kinda like that in your hand. The hard drive repels everything :p
