In 2017: Andrew Rosener bought Yellow.com from Andy Booth.

In 2018: Yellow Corporation bought it. Yellow Corporation invests in Blockchain projects.

    History:
Yellow.ca is redirected to Canpages' "Canadian Business Directory Listings and Business Reverse Lookup" aka the Yellow Pages in Canada.

How much do you think Yellow Corporation paid for Yellow.com?

I believe it sold for Mid $xxx, xxx - Low $x,xxx, xxx based on the recent Purple.com sale of $900K.

@WingMan in Ancient Greece.. Besides what good are those without happiness๐Ÿ˜‰? To be fair yellow can have negative connotations like yellow belly...

What colour .com would you most like to own? I think green.com for me ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Yellow.com is an excellent domain but it comes with limitations. Yellow Pages owns a lot of media rights with the term yellow. So anyone putting that domain to use anywhere in North America does have some limitations on how it can be used.

    Is it excellent.... Yes

Personally my maximum on this domain would have been 100k because unlike some other colors there are a lot of cautions on this one. I know some of you will argue that it is a generic term but then again so is Apple. Now try to use Apple anywhere in the computer/music/cell phone business and you will soon learn of the complications.

Yellow is no different, if you have a solid plan for it I say it's worth more but if your plans at all fall into the listings/communications or any other of the vast area that yellow pages dables in then you would be ill advised to use it.

So because of those limitations I vote for 100k max

I would argue Red.com would be the most valuable color domains. Solid color and it's very short. Extremely rare.
