If you target the Asian visitors with the right offers / ads, than they are not of "low quality" and "low conversion". Of course generic untargeted ads won't work very well.
They have a lot of sites with "traffic" but what you should really do is check the backlinks. If it does have a lot of backlinks (and quality ones) then it might be getting that kind of traffic but if it has no backlinks and no pr and people might not type that in directly its probably wrong. which I think most are on that site-as the higher the traffic they post the more money they make (IMO).
I found the domain you were asking about and will pm you my thoughts so not to give it away.
Thanks for the helpful pm Gary, rep coming your way.
Currently I'm building a website targeting asian visitors and trying to monetize the traffic, but CTR is very low, about 0.5%. That's why i said asian traffic is low quality.
CTR does not depend on the traffic geolocation but on the language, topic and placement of the ads. I'd rather say your ads are not targeted to your visitors.
I know that the japanese read from right to left instead of left to right as euro and american countries do, maybe other asian countries do also and the way you place things is confusing for them?
Did you buy the name. I think the numbers are inflated and/or from overseas. Discount the traffic substantially BUT I don't think people dig into TDNAM like they do at snap names so you can probably get a decent deal there.
