question How much do you make on a parked premium domain?

I've always been curious as to how or why domain parking is the go to method for most domainers.

Can someone share some success stories?

I stumble across six figure domains all the time that are just parked.

Most of my parked domains with SEDO make $0. Some even generate 150 or so views a month with a monthly revenue that can be rounded to 0.

That's not a real success story, you had to work for $100. Maybe if you spend $1 on advertising somewhere or just list your services on Fiverr, you will get a similar order. I would not say it is nothing but mentioning that you earned $100/click is totally misleading. Like I would say I earned $500k with a click when I sold my house but the thing is that it was not the click but the house that worth this amount.

Domain parking is about passive income without dealing with customers, without doing anything extra - selling the traffic as is. So if you buy our traffic to put banners on our parking pages, that would be interesting.

Fair enough, however, many do use parking/landers for lead generation, which is still a viable monetization option.

P.s. The original poster didn’t ask about clicks or ppc specifically and left it open to any form of parking monetization. So, theres nothing misleading about clicks.

Through a lead generated from a parked page banner click.

Putting everything in a box and limiting oneself to just PPC (Pay-Per-Click) isn't always the best move, especially when PPL (Pay-per-lead) and PPS (Pay-Per-Sale) are available to be leveraged.

Just because I didn't use a 3rd party PPL and PPS solution and cut out the middle-man with an inhouse PPS/PPL service, it doesn't make the lead conversion to a sale less viable. If anything, it makes it more viable by cutting out the middle-man and not having to give anyone else a % of the lead that converted from the parked page "Banner Click".

I guess it's all in how we look at things.

I like to step out of the box and leverage multiple parking page monetization options. In this case, a parking page, that generated a Banner click, which converted into a PPS/PPL sale without a middle-man taking a cut of the revenue.

We all do it differently. What works for one may not work for another and vice versa.

If PPC works better for you, Great! Stick with that. For me, converting clicks on parking pages into leads and sales works best.
