How Many Domains Names Do You Own?

I just started in this business last week and have increase my portfolio to 38 domain names. It is addictive!! I just hope I can make some money soon to at least cover the cost of the domain names.


So..... How many domain names do you guys and gals own?

And how many of those are actually making money for you? BE HONEST!

You just start and you have 38 domain ? that very good. He took me about a two to three month to get 10 good domains

I own about 150. About 100 are a year old or more and at least cover their reg fee. 20% make 90% of my money. The other 50 are all new and I haven't yet determined their value.

Honestly, out of the 38, I consider 20 to be pretty good. The other 18 I purchased BEFORE I knew about namepro.com. This site saved me from wasting any more money!! Thank God I found this site!

I have about 75 domains.

Since your just starting the best advice I can give you is to actually STOP buying domains. My first week or two I got a major boost to my portfolio but most where novice mistakes. Slow down take your time and plan each domain as best you can. Use all the keyword and traffic tools and make educated judgments. Also for domains to get type in traffic they need to be short no one wants to go to domainaboutlongtopic.com.

Most of them are hand regs, but I have some that are 5 years old. Only 4 of them will make more than regfee from parking revenue.

But I resell them quickly. Huh.. and I just started with 2 domains April. From that sale I bought the others. Initial investment $18

Most of the names in my portfolio are .TV names. Nearly 120 names are .MOBI.

I sold a .MOBI name in 2006 for Mid $xx,xxx, and hand regged all of my remaining names within the past two months.

It means new registrations.

One can buy a domain in the aftermarket (from other domain owners), or register it themselves.

im speechless alexsimon, u begun w $18 and reselling them and buing others and reselling again u now have 300+

ur ROI is absolutely fantastic if u evaluate ur names... although as far as ive read the threads here in NP u r very intelligent and know very well this industry; congrats :tu:

Around 750. I have them at different registrars, so not sure about the exact figure. I have stopped buying domains now and am more focused on monetizing them. I've made my reg fee on all the domains by now and more via parking and affiliate sales. So currently, all my domains have broken even, and its free going now, till I decide to renew some names next year.

91 domains. I started about 3 months ago and have learned a lot since. I'll be dropping about 70 of them next year (since I've learned to buy only what I can develop and monetize).
