How long can be listed a brandable domain in a top seller site before it sells?

Well I have some brandables and would like to enter the brandable venture, I think than listing on a known site such as BrandBucket or Namerrific is the best option to start. Should they accept my names, how long is the largest time you have to wait until the sell concretes? Is there an average time? Does it rely only on luck? Your listing could reach several renewals before you can sell? Thanks.

I read your blog. In my honest opinion if 500$ is a big amount and an amount that you can't invest for a very long time like more than a year then I would strongly recommend that this game might not be suited for you.

Brandable name at the moment is a high risk high yield investment. So if you lose some money then you shouldn't be disappointed and your life shouldn't depend on this form of investment.

Thanks for reading and taking time to give me the advice. Indeed $500 is a considerable amount of money in my country but it is either something that will take to bankrupcy to someone.
I am not making a living by selling domains, not yet at least, as I stated on my blog I work for a real estate company on my country and I will keep things like that until I get a paycheck same or better than I do today. However every long travel starts for the first step and I am giving my first steps.
Yeah I am tasting the waters with my toe first and I have learned a lot of things in the process and that is what I want to share with my readers.
I am still investing money out those $500, small amounts of money, but something tells me every new acquisition I do is better and wiser than the former one, this due to the fact I learn every day and trial and error is a constant on this business til the day your learn what to do and how to do it. Until then, I will keep trying and making mistakes so I can share with others what to do and what not to do.
I just want those who came late to the domain game have a better chance to succeed and perhaps do not make the mistakes I did just by taking a few minutes reading the adventures of Domain XD. Peace :hearts:

I have gone stretch's for 6 months without selling a name and then sold 3 in a row in a week, These types of names you just have to list for sale and hope the fish's are biting...

you can improve your odds by having a good name, listed on a brandable site

Some names will never sell, and it is becoming increasingly difficult due to the amount of names listed at these venues.
If you have great names they will sell... eventually.. maybe tomorrow maybe 2 or 3 years its a gamble.
To get the exposure on these sites you need to really pay for premium listings and that is another cost that you have to calculate for..
