Good news from the numeric domain market. The domain name 70.net was closed at 835k CNY (about $128k) at an auction in Apr 5th.

The domain name 70.net was registered in March, 2000. It has several different meanings including “kiss you”, “Kirin” and “lovers”. The domain name is suitable for all kinds of end-users. There are several potential companies like Qiling Medical and Qiling Forge. Besides, the domain name 70.com has been used by a designing website.

The domain name 70.net was sold for thousands Euros in 2008. The price has risen dramatically compared with that. The number of NN.com is limited, but the price is relatively low compared with that of NN.com domain names. Thus many investors hold a positive expectation on the numeric domain names. Investor Yang Zhengfeng bought the 87.net with a good price. And Chen Haonan spent 720k CNY on the domain name 76.net.

It's a nice sale. NN domains don't come on the market too often. When they do, they can go for large $!

Here is a weird NN.net sale listed on namebio
84.net sold for $10k then changed hands for $100k less then a week later. If that's a real sale it might be the best domain flip ever.

70.net is a nice rounded number. There are only 100 NN for .net
I think numeric domains will only increase greatly in value. The short ones are very easy to remember and will have no UDRP issues to worry about. The are very generic and can be used for any website. Plus they are super rare.

Exactly right. LLL/LLLL.com may go up and down due to market conditions but numeric domains will only go up in value, due to the rarity and strong end user demand.
