GoDaddy Cash Parking

I've read the reviews and understand that GDs Cash Parking is not the highest rated but I decided to move one domain over from it's former parking home as a test.

The domain was getting about 10 to 15 hits pers day at it's former parked company. At first, it looked like the traffic would be about the same, then something happened?

What the heck?

I have only one domain moved to cash parking and have not done anything to manipulate the traffic. Any ideas?

These things happen. Maybe GD include bot traffic, but it does look like a steady increase. Enjoy the revenue If it's not making any revenue, move it someplace else.

I had the same thing when I had my names at sedo. I was getting views at a name i lked alot only to find out it was bot traffic. My quick experience with GD cash parking was that ads didnt fit my names well

I tried the 80 percent share program for a month cost was 8.99 I think, I wasnt impressed just decent to low payouts, i thought they would get a much higher payout from upline providers because of all the traffic they must send them,and if I got 80 percent i would be siiting pretty, just didnt happen I made more at fab, I have heard some names do great but I tried a few insurance names, jewelry names and mortgage name and I didnt fair well

I actually learned about this from a godaddy representative that was telling me about domain discount club, which if you sign up for they throw in the cash parking. It makes sense for me to sign up for the discount club, so I figure I will try out a few names on gd cash parking and see how they fare.

This is the only instance when I recommend using GD CashParking. If it is free with your DDC membership, then it is fine, otherwise it is not worth the money, and in fact does not offer as good a system as the other services. Make sure that if you use the Discount Domain Club and get CashParking with it, that you set your domains to automatically enter your parking account and start making money on them immediately. If you buy a lot of domains on TDNam, this is expecially important. Godaddy does not tell you a domain enters your account until almost a day later. If you don't have your domains set to automatically park with them, you have two options. One is to let them park your domain themselves until you find out it is in your account. You then move the domain somewhere else and Godaddy keeps the parking revenue generated thus far for themselves. Two, you have to check your Godaddy account constantly (multple times each morning), to see when the domains you were expecting to enter your account do in fact enter your account, and then move them ASAP, so that you don't lose money. I think that the easiest option is to just have them automatically enter your CashParking account, then you can move them out as soon as they notify you that you own them at the end of the night and you make money (hopefully) in the meantime. This only makes sense if you get CashParking for free though, with something like the Discount Domain Club.
Also, Godaddy CashParking normally shows less traffic than the other parking companies, so I have no suggestion for the original question.

Yea, I've got it just as part of the Domain Discount Club thing, but it never really paid off for me.
