How do you think about GoDaddy appraisal service? Is that reasonable?

GoDaddy is the No.1 domain register service provider but how about their domain appraisal service?

They appraise my domain: WholesaleLaptop.net at the value range $72-$223, is that generally correct?

Thanks for any inputs! :hearts:

It is pathetic and another contrieved way they have devised to part people and their money.

What is wrong with this picture?

One of the biggest scams going at the moment is GoDaddy Certified Appraisal.

There are several domains being auctioned off that are so laughable:

L8T.ORG=$800-$2080 https://www.tdnam.com/trpItemListing.aspx?miid=6023850&ci=2185

R8T.ORG=$6,800-$17,680 https://www.tdnam.com/trpItemListing.aspx?miid=5970237&ci=2185

I recently dropped several of these that I thought were good acronyms like G8S (GATES), F8S (FATES), R8S (RATES), R8D (RATED) etc with no interest whatsoever. Currently they are also appearing on auction at TDNAM.

Appraisal? $10.00 plus reg fee. If they don't sell or no interest, they are likely to drop to $5.00 as a BUY IT NOW.

So, when you figure out GoDaddy's supposed "human appraisal" (other than another method to part people and there money) get back to me.

Thanks for the input!

But I don't think WholesaleLaptop.net only worth a reg fee... since the keyword has been searched thousands of times per month on major search engine, even its not a .com domain, it shouldn't be only a reg fee.... Just my newbie's opinion....plus it has been certificated by premiumdomain.com, which is the sponsor of this forum.

Yours is better than the two examples given. I certainly think that your appraisal will be equalled by PPC parking.

As for premium domains appraisal, I let the others weigh in on that one.

Interesting...

I think we need to better educate people about our premium domain certification.
It's important you given your domain score.
Premiums range from 400 to 1,000 and the scale is logarytmic.
I think we need to add some extra info in the check page for a better understanding in the value. Let see if we do it this week...

Thanks for you guys!

Now I get a better understanding on my domain.

cybertonic, do you mean the PremiumDomain.com is not accurate? I trust that site because its the sponsor of this forum.

I NEVER said it is not accurate.

I basically said it's like gold, you have gold at 24 carats and gold at 48 carats, ...
The carat is important!
Here the carat is the domain score.
And because there is a so huge difference between the lowest premium names and the highest ones then the scale is logarytmic.

As I posted last night, 9.52% of 774,366 domains submitted for certification was declared as Premium.
This also means +90% of domains did not reach the minimum scoring.
We may increase the min limit and still be more elitist...

...

Sorry for my misunderstood cybertonic!

Looking forward to PremiumDomain.com's improvement! It would be great if it can predict the dollar value of the domain.
