How do you research a domain?

I am just curious what kind of research you guys perform on a domain? I have some CVCV.info's that are getting some decent traffic and I am curious where it is coming from. I'm kind of curious what some of the things are you do to research a domain aside from the following:
*Google results
*Overture checking
*Backlink checking

* developed in other tlds

 

[doggyowner]

* Similar sales (namebio.com or dnsaleprice.com)
* plural/singular and hyphenated ext taken

some sites have info after the name IE: carinfo.com which might confuse some visitors to type car.info

it may be a result of misspellings. check if there is a big site located with similar letters (but may be rollover letters or added or missed letters)
