Not sure this is the place for this question but here goes...

Uptil now i have been buying and selling domains and my paypal has been sufficient in funds for that. But until recently i made more puchases than sales and paypal is dried up; although i have good credit on my card.

Now a good amount of purchases I do are from NP members here and other forums, and the choice mode of payment is paypal.

That being said, I had to pass some good names being offered here for the want of paypal funds. How do i refill paypal? Is there any method by which i can refill it using my credit card? Does anyone provide of any service where they charge my card and send me paypal funds? How do you guys manage this?

Thanks in advance.

Bank Account: log in to PayPal >>> click on Add Funds tab (on the top , second row , second from the left)

Credit/Debit Card: log in to PayPal >>> click on Profile tab (on the top , second row , far right) >>> click on Credit/Debit Cards (on the top of the middle column) >>> click on Add New Card

if you add a CC , you might also want to check on Recurring Payments (in Profile , middle column , 5th line) the Edit Funding Options link (near the end of the page , before the links) >>> and in there you might also want to check Conversion Options , if you trade with different currencies

if you have a Personal account , you can send and receive money for free , but the money must be from PayPal balance and not from a CC

if you have Premier/Business account , sending money is free , but receiving (either from balance or CC) has fees

more details

also bear in mind that if you add a bank account or CC ... if the balance is zero/low and there is a dispute and PayPal has to withdraw funds from your account , if the balance is not enough , they will withdraw them from the submitted funding sources ...

Thanks Godian. I think I'll try making a payment thru a CC next time i do a deal with someone and add the fee to it so that there is no burden on the seller. That way it wud be similar to a paypal balance for them imo.

Thanks for the input :)

basically , that is not a common practice ... PayPal fees are considered as transaction costs by most and are usually incorporated in the sale price ... besides , it is not a huge amount , ~3% plus $0.30

but of course , it is up to the buyer if he wants to offer that (if he wants to)

a considerate practice is when you are to make multiple small (<$20) payments in the same period to the same seller , to consolidate them in one payment so that the seller does not pay the $0.30 multiple times ...

thanks for the rep
