How do you make money with a parked domain?

I am of course new at all of this domain and website----learning quickly since I own the 2 websites below---but still a novice.
How do you make money with a parked domain?
I have about 5 domain names that I am not using----if I could be making any kind of money with them that would be great

Parking domains with a revenue based parking service is very simple.

1: You sign up at one of the many parking services. Some of the best are:
http://www.sedo.com
http://www.domainsponsor.com
http://www.namedrive.com
http://www.domainhop.com

2: You change the DNS servers of the domains to the ones provided by the parking service or redirect the domain to their parking page.

3: You start making revenue from the domain traffic

One thing to note about trying to earn revenue from parking is that your domain is going to need natural type-in traffic to earn you any revenue (or maybe residual traffic or back-links from an abandoned website on your domain). The more targeted the traffic to your parked domain, the better the CTR and the more revenue you'll make. Generally, generic .coms work the best.
