How do you know if a DN infringes trademarks?

I am wondering where I can go to see if a word or phrase is trademarked.

I have the domain www.PhysxCard.com .net and .info and I am wondering about this.

Could someone please direct me? I searched in the TESS at uspto.gov and it returned no results. Is this where I should look? If no results are returned does that mean I am safe? Please advise.

You can bet too though that if it bothers the company enough you will get a notice in the mail. I ran a Honda ATV owners site for about a year or so and the dn was www.ridethered.com, which is close to Honda's slogan "Ride Red", and the site looked almost identical to theirs which is exactly what I wanted. I never heard one word from Honda. I think it was because it was more of a user base than direct competiton.

Keep in mind tho that it doesn't have to be registered to be contestable in court..

Next you could google your term as listed (as well as close variations) and see if you get any hits. If the term is trademarked or in use, chances are it exists online in some form and you'll be able to see how it's being used by others.
